Best Pumpkin Patches in the San Francisco Bay Area

The Bay Area has excellent pumpkin patches for Halloween, ranging from large working farms to convenient neighborhood lots. Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday, October 31, so expect the biggest crowds that weekend, especially at Half Moon Bay. Go on a weekday or the weekend if you can. Most Pumpkin Patches are open all during October, so can go early and grab some pumpkins to take home.

This place gets very busy (maybe too busy) right before Halloween, so I would go earlier in the month.

My son absolutely loves this place, especially the dinosaurs, and it will be packed with families the weekend before and on Halloween weekend.
